Damp Treatment in Ryton

This Damp Treatment in Ryton project involved carrying out comprehensive damp treatment works in an older mid-terraced property in Ryton. The primary goal was to eliminate persistent damp issues and restore the affected living spaces to a dry, healthy condition. The process began with the careful removal of all damp-contaminated plaster from the walls. Once the underlying surfaces were properly prepared, a high-performance 3mm mesh membrane system was installed to provide an effective barrier against moisture. The walls were then re-lined with plasterboard and fully plastered to achieve a smooth, durable finish. The end result is a clean, dry, and comfortable home environment, free from damp and mould concerns, with walls that are both structurally sound and visually refreshed.
